Paul epp - SENIOR Pastor

Pastor Paul is a native of Hutchinson.  Before beginning his ministry at First Church of God in September of 2025, he served nearly 36 years English congregation ministries in Chinese churches in Houston, TX, Aurora, CO and Ithaca, NY. In addition, he has served as a missionary in Belize, Central America; a youth director in the inner-city of Denver and the director of the Campus Crusade at University of Houston. He is a graduate of Denver Seminary where he met his wife, Hildy.  His ministry theme verse is 2 Corinthians 4:5: "For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake." Tim yates - youth pastor

Pastor Tim is passionate about Youth Ministry, and First Church of God is blessed to have a Youth Pastor who has been dedicated to serving teenagers and college career students in this community for several years.   Tim, and his wife Robin, have four sons: Joseph, Jacob, Jeremy and Jon.

gLENN j. kOSTER, sR - aSSOCIATE pASTOR OF uRBAN mINISTRIES & eVANGELISM

Pastor Glenn is active in our L.I.F.E. Outreach program, helps with our communications, and teaches Bible Study classes. Glenn is in the office “as needed” (which is usually every Thursday afternoon). In his spare time, he writes (both online and in print media). Glenn is also an enthusiastic photographer, with a focus on historic Kansas - particularly old churches. While he is a native of Colorado, his Kansas roots go back to the Fort Scott area before the Civil War. His wife, Charlcie, is a Hutchinson native and her grandparents were former pastors in the church.
